Tokyo Banana and the little chick pastry which has red bean fillings inside.

Photobucket
i highly recommend this, its fantastic esp if you're a chocolate lover.
It has a slight banana flavour outside, and the filling has raisins and some chocolate buttery cream, very yummy!

my favourite potato sticks snacks, they sell it at about 100 yen in Japan, it is also available in SG (you can find it at Japanese supermarkets or Shaw Centre supermarket, they're more ex in SG, at about sgd$3+ per can)

skinny umbrella (525 yen)

i'm back from Japan.

Here are my buys from Hokkaido:

The very popular Potato Farm snack (its by calbee by the way) and exclusive to Hokkaido only.
It's not available everywhere but a few of the gift shops we went have it and its only limited to 1 box per customer. (costs about 800+yen per box)

However, i personally find that it tastes about 80% similar to Calbee's JAGABEE potato sticks, you can find this easily in our local supermarkets, and i remember seeing these in Watsons too.

Shiroi Koibito aka Bai Se Lian Ren (white lovers) - this blue packaging has white chocolate fillings.
(1 box of 12 costs about 740yen)

Shiroi Koibito- brown packaging has milk chocolate fillings
(1 box of 24 pcs costs about 1000+yen)

i personally prefer the milk chocolate fillings, whereas actually the white chocolate filling is the more popular one, its nice too, but just my personal preference as i've always been a milk chocolate person :)

this is really yummy too, its comparable to Shiroi Koibito, sweet chocolate biscuit on the outside with buttery sugary fillings inside.

This is another very popular and super delicious product of Rokkatei, its called the Marusei butter biscuit, however, it has to be refrigerated, otherwise, the fillings will melt.
We bought a total of 3 packets of this and consumed them all in Japan.

Black beans (my mum asked me to get these for her, she says they're good for hair growth)

Hokkaido scallops

Asahikawa Ramen

Some gifts from Furano:

Lavender pillow satchets, Lavender essential oil and Lavender pot pourri satchets

Home made jam

Post cards by Takushinkan

wind chimes

Musical box from Otaru Music Box Museum:

i chose this because of the very sorrowful melody it plays.

the melody's name is written on the label at the top. (they have hundreds of melodies available to choose from but i dunno why this one just catches my attention the most)

CD of the magical musical tunes (costs about 1500yen)

Hokkaido is a wonderful place, lots of yummy food and there are lots more i want to post about Hokkaido which i will be doing so soon, feel free to visit for more info (i will be posting gradually over time, so stay tuned)
